The car is a 1999 SEiW with ford 1850 cvh engine originally from a 1992 XR3.It has twin 45 webber carbs with K&N air filters. The original engine was 1600 cc so it has been bored out to 1850 and fast road cams were also added. Not sure of the head work that has been done but after a rolling road tune back in June last year before the K&N's were added it made 148 bhp with 135 ft/lb torque.

It was purchased last may from York and driven back down with a nervous driver in torrential rain with a leaking hood, next to no visibility and a following wife that thought i had lost my marbles. I was still smiling that night and still do now every time i drive it.

Winter up grades have included the K&N's, a new roll bar, some braided hoses for a bit of bling, new competition fuel pump, new fuel line and a new sump to go on asap
